About Us--Parson Russell Terriers

    We bought our first Parson Russell Terrier 15 years ago, and we have never been without one since that time.  My children have grown up with Russells around them all the time. In 2000, we bought our first AKC Parson Russell Terriers, Snow Winds Just Joon and Snow Winds Ruff and Honors, from Mary Strom of Snow Winds Farm in Beavercreek, Oregon.  

 We began showing in the spring of 2001.  In October, Joon and I traveled to Philadelphia to attend the 2001 JRTAA National Specialty at the Montgomery County Kennel Club show, where Joonie placed in sweeps and the 9-12 puppy class.  In November, Snow Winds Just Joon became our first AKC champion.  Now we were hopelessly hooked.  

     The new year brought us two new Snow Winds pups--Snow Winds Charade (Matty) and Snow Winds Black Tie Affair (Bob).  In April, Joonie was bred to CH. Snow Winds Cimba's Pride.  That breeding gave us two lovely bitch pups--Brillwood Just a Little and Brillwood Just a Minute. 

    Now it is the Fall of 2004, and we have a wonderful kennel full of AKC Champion dogs and bitches.  We have several youngsters to bring out this winter, and some great puppies for next year.  Please feel free to call or write if you are looking for a GOOD Parson Russell Terrier.  We take the time to make sure each puppy goes to the right person, be it a pet, show, or performance home.  Brillwood will always stand behind the dogs we breed and show.  We are proud of our dogs!
