Brillwood Farm, (Linda Edwards, owner) hereafter referred to as Seller.
On______________, the sum of ____- has been received from: _______________________________, hereafter referred to as Buyer.
For the purchase of Parson Russell Terrier described below. Sire_____________. Dam_______________ Reg./Litter App. ______________Sex__ whelping date ________ color_______ Reg. Name (if named by Seller)--__________________
1. The Seller certifies that the said terrier is in sound body and in good health, free from communicable diseases to the best of knowledge of the Seller, and current in vaccinations and worming. After taking possession of the puppy/dog, Buyer agrees to have the terrier examined by his/her veterinarian within 1 week. Buyer must notify Seller of any medical problems found. The Seller is not responsible for any veterinary charges.
2. This terrier may be returned, for refund or replacement, within one week from date of veterinary inspection, if the terrier is found to have any health problems, or if any genetic abnormality is apparent. All shipping expenses are the sole responsibility of the Buyer. In such case, the Seller shall refund the full purchase price. In addition, the terrier shall be replaced if any genetic abnormality that will affect the quality of life of the terrier is diagnosed up to two years after purchase. This includes hearing, eyes, and orthopedic problems that are determined to be genetic or congenital.
3. This terrier is guaranteed to be free of any AKC standard disqualifications, if said terrier is sold as a show prospect. In the instance that a disqualification shall become apparent, this terrier may be returned for full purchase price OR a refund of ½ the purchase price may be made upon written proof that said terrier has been spayed/neutered. Buyer may elect to receive a replacement puppy in lieu of full refund option. Replacement pup will be of equal quality, to the satisfaction of Buyer and Seller.
4. Provided this terrier is sold as a show prospect, Buyer shall promise to show said terrier to his/her AKC Championship, or allow Seller to show said dog with Buyer paying any/all entry expenses, and all shipping costs. If said puppy is a bitch, she shall obtain her AKC Championship prior to being bred. Any dogs used for breeding shall have CERF clearances prior to first breeding. Seller may waive these requirements at any time.
5. At any time, if Buyer finds he/she no longer wants said terrier, the Seller has first option to repurchase the dog at the original selling price, or fair market value, to be determined by Seller and Buyer.
